Rachel completed her Bachelor degrees at Otago University in Physical Education and Science (majoring in Human Nutrition) before working in corporate roles both in New Zealand and abroad.

After furthering her studies in 2004 with a Certificate of Massage from the New Zealand College of Massage in Auckland, Rachel went on to establish a successful clinic in Auckland, with clients ranging from mums to corporate workers to athletes, including the Auckland Diamonds Netball team.
